With our families, we have chosen to live in this beautiful area of the Foothills. If you're reading this, chances are you made a similar choice.
Recent research has found most people think churches are "judgmental, controlling, intimidating and boring."
Well, that's not us!
This congregation offers a variety of theological perspectives. What this means is that we all believe in God and Jesus. However beliefs beyond this can vary within the congregation. Debate is encouraged and welcomed but always grounded in mutual respect. Study groups often focus on the latest in Biblical scholarship and Christian thought.
We are a church that believes that our Christianity means we are to reach out to others in service. We aim at providing a place where people can explore their spirituality and their purpose in life. We believe that a community of individuals grounded in the love of God can make a difference in this world.
If you are interested in a community of faith that is open, caring and encourages mutual respect in serving God, this may be a church for you.
We hope you will come and check us out. Also please feel free to email or telephone us with any questions you may have.

Toronto: In a letter sent to Stephen Harper, The United Church of Canada has urged the Prime Minister to ensure that the June 11 apology to residential school survivors and their families is an occasion that will be experienced as a defining moment in the healing of our nation....

... We are a church in transition, driving down that rough, gravelly stretch of a road that used to be nice and smooth, but is now being repaved. The bumps and potholes make us curse, wondering when it's all going to be finished and the road is smooth again, the way it used to be.
