Jesus said the greatest commandments are these:
"You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind
and with all your strength" and secondly, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

Our Promises to God
We promise to live to the best of our ability out of Christ's teaching: respecting God, others and ourselves.
We promise to pray, to thank and to ask for God's help in our lives and our Church, and we promise to listen and respond to God with our faithful stewardship and participation in our Church's mission.
Our Promises to Each Other as a Congregation
We promise to be a welcoming congregation, getting to know newcomers and inviting them to share our gifts and talents.
We promise to value each person. We acknowledge that conflict is normal and healthy, and so we promise to speak directly with a person or group using the guidelines of Matthew 18: 15-17. We promise to not participate in gossip.
We promise to support our volunteer leaders, minister and staff so that their efforts can help better God's world.
Our Promise to Each Other in Decision-making by the Congregation, Official Board and in Small Groups
We promise to treat our service to the church as an important way to give to God.
We promise to discuss, debate and disagree openly but respectfully in our decision-making, expressing ourselves as honestly as possible so that others understand our point of view.
We promise to support the final decision of the congregation, and the Official Board, whether or not it reflects our personal view.
