Mens' Breakfast

Mens' Breakfast meets for a hearty meal on occasional Saturdays - sometimes with a guest speaker, sometimes to hike in nearby Kananaskis.

An offshoot of this has been the creation of the 'Heroes Club', composed of a group of men that contribute to support various worthwhile local causes.

As part of this group's larger outreach, it is also providing direction to a group of men and women that are looking at a project to provide a Zambian Church with a vehicle. This vehicle will allow the local pastor to provide outreach to a large rural area, including assisting in transporting sick patients to medical facilities and delivering medical supplies to remote areas.

Family Activities

We know Canadians value time with their families. Our programming includes opportunities for children and adults to learn and grow in faith together while also enjoying each others' company.

Creating with our Hands

To create with our hands is a ministry in itself. Some people quilt, knit, do pottery, carpentry work. Quilts are made, blessed in our worship and given to social service agencies as well as individuals and families going through difficult times (illness, end of a marriage) or celebratory times (birth of a child). This group of women also organize occasional events such as a Creating with the Creator Women's Day, Women's Spa Day and a children's craft and carry day.

Coffee and Conversation

On occasional Friday mornings, women with children, gather for coffee and conversation.
